Bio: Gary Schmitt

Owner Gary Schmitt has more than 25 years experience in the cross country ski industry. He has worked as ski school director in five different states and two hemispheres; most recently at Tahoe Donner Cross Country in Truckee CA.

Gary also enjoys ski touring and has made tracks in California, Montana, Canada, Australia and Northern India.

An accomplished cross country skier, Gary remains an active instructor and relates to being a beginner at cross-country skiing. He looks forward to helping you find just the right equipment and fit for your goals and expectations.
