Shipping and Handling
SHIPPING
We ship to addresses within the USA with simple shipping costs. UPS is our standard carrier for large packages like skis and poles. For smaller packages we use the US Postal Service.
Sales tax applies to orders shipped to California only. This savings is often enough to offset shipping costs completely!
RETURNS
Sierra Nordic hopes you are satisfied with your all of your purchases. However if you do need to return something, this is how it works.
- A return authorization must be obtained from Sierra Nordic.

- On-Sale products must be returned within 10 days of purchase
- Returns must be received within 30 days of purchase
Because of the seasonal nature of the ski business, we cannot accept returns of non-defective items beyond 30 days from purchase. An item that is defective can be returned while under the manufacturer’s warranty for replacement or repair, at the manufacturers discretion.
- Special order items may not be returned.
- All items must be in new and unused condition. They must be in the original packaging with all manufacturers tags attached. Partial credit will be given for anything less.
- Mounted ski returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, unless we sent the wrong ski.
Don’t forget to…
- Pack return items with original packaging and receipt and ship by traceable carrier (UPS, Fedex, or USPS insured mail). Insure returns for their full value.
- Include a letter describing the problem in detail.
- Return to Sierra Nordic (address below) with your return address shown on the outside of the package.

Note: We are a seasonal shop. Returns should not be shipped during our off season, between April 1st and October 1st.
