The Card Verification Number verifies that you are using the card while it is in your physical possession and helps to reduce fraudulent use.

For Visa and MasterCard, the Card Verification Number is the 3 digit number printed on the back of your card after your credit card number.


For American Express, the Card Verification Number is the 4 digit number on the front of the card.

Warranty and Returns

RETURNS
Sierra Nordic hopes you are satisfied with your all of your purchases. However if you do need to return something, this is how it works.

  • A return authorization must be obtained from Sierra Nordic.
    Call 530-582-4713 to obtain.
  • On-Sale products must be returned within 10 days.
  • Returns must be received within 30 days of purchase
    Because of the seasonal nature of the ski business, we cannot accept returns of non-defective items beyond 30 days from purchase. An item that is defective can be returned while under the manufacturer’s warranty for replacement or repair, at the manufacturers discretion.
  • Special order items may not be returned.
  • All items must be in new and unused condition. They must be in the original packaging with all manufacturers tags attached. Partial credit will be given for anything less.
  • Mounted ski returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, unless we sent the wrong ski.

Don’t forget to…

  • Pack return items with original packaging and receipt and ship by traceable carrier (UPS, Fedex, or USPS insured mail). Insure returns for their full value.
  • Include a letter describing the problem in detail.
  • Return to Sierra Nordic (address below) with your return address shown on the outside of the package.

Note: We are a seasonal shop. Returns should not be shipped during our off season, between April 1st and October 1st.

PRICING
We do our best to keep the website up to date. There will inevitably be some typos, price discrepancies and perhaps technical errors. Sierra Nordic is not responsible for these. We reserve the right to change our prices as required.

WARRANTY
Warranties are between the consumer and the manufacturer. We will do what we can to facilitate warranty claims. Most hard goods, skis, poles and boots come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Warranties are for manufacturing defects and do not cover damage from falls, accidents, car doors, etc. Warranties do not cover labor for binding removal or shipping to the manufacturer. Warranties are based on date of purchase. NO OTHER WARRANTY IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

TIP: Keep your old skis in good working condition to avoid being without skis while a warranty is being processed.

REFUNDS

  • Products must be returned within 30 days of purchase for refund or store credit.
  • Products must be in new and unused condition and be returned with all original packaging.
  • Clothing must be unworn with all original hang tags attached.
  • Partial store credit may be issued if a product is used or packaging/hangtags are missing.
  • A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from refund or store credit for return of mounted skis.
  • Sierra Nordic doesn’t credit shipping costs unless it’s our mistake.
