START GRIP TAPE
If you classic ski often in weird waxing conditions and would like good waxable performance, try Grip Tape. We've found it to be especially good close to freezing. Since it lasts so long, a good way to use it is to put it on a dedicated pair of classic skis. That way if the waxing conditions are tricky, you pull out your taped skis.
