The products in the NA family do not contain fluorcarbon but are an excellent mix of natural and synthetic waxes with a special price offer. The warmer products, that is NA2 and NA4, are valid formulations for base impregnation and training. The cold products, NA6 and NA8 are professional choice waxes for dry cold snow conditions where the addition of fluorcarbon does not bring racing advantages.

• NA2: 0°/-4°C
  Wax formulated for very wet snow or for snow mixed with rain.
• NA4: -2°/-6°C
  This wide range wax has an excellent penetration into bases.
• NA6: -4°/-12C
  Special formulated mix wfor racing in average cold conditions with low air humidity.
• NA8: -8°/-20°C
  Synthetic ski wax formulated to be used in very cold dry aggressive snow conditions. For best results apply at least twice, scrape and brush while still warm.

With a mid-range amount of fluorocarbon the LA line of Star waxes works well for fresh settled snow or transformed snow with low to medium relative air humidity. It has a wide enough range of use that it even works well in dry snow conditions.

If conditions change quickly the LA line works as a solid base layer under a final coat with a 100% fluorocarbon wax to deal with increased moisture or dirty conditions to keep you sliding with maximum glide. The colder waxes deal effectively with abrasive snow, extending the life of your wax.

When you expect abrasive snow or extra suction from wet conditions you want Star’s HA wax with high fluorocarbon content. All the HA waxes work well by themselves, but even better as a base layer with a 100% pure fluorocarbon finish coat to improve glide and longevity whether the conditions are wet, or old, cold and abrasive man-made or groomed snow, even when treated with salt. The real beauty, however, is how well they respond to changing conditions over a wide temperature range.

For best results be sure to iron them in at the suggested melting temperature, then finish off with a good brushing. 60 gram package size.

Demanding skiers, professional and amateur, nordic or alpine, will gravitate to the VA line Star waxes with the highest content of fluorocarbon. The revolutionary technology behind the VA line combines fluoro-alkanes and fluoro-polymers in the highest concentrations ever used. The net result is a wax that improves glide in the conditions that are most abrasive – dirty snow, artificial snow, humid and melting snow – and maintains it for longer.

For best results apply the wax at the recommended iron temperature given on each package and finish with a good brushing.

  Paraffin base for conditions with very wet falling snow or mixed with rain, and for dirty snow or spring conditions.
• HFM: -3°C to -8°C (26.6°F to 17.6°F ) • Relative Humidity: 60/95%
  Paraffin base with very wide temperature range to use on both new and transformed snow. Due to the wide range of application, this is the most used wax during the winter season. Excellent when covered with top layer FM.
• HFC: 8°C to -15°C (18°F to 5°F ) • Relative Humidity: 60/95%
  Paraffin base with a high content of fluoro for cold and humid snow conditions, especially abrasive artificial snow. For these conditions or for long distances we recommend to cover with a top layer of FC 100% fluoro.
